Privacy policy

This policy explains what CCRent processes when you visit the site, contact us, order and use your Mac. The site itself has no sign-up and takes no payments.

1. When you visit the site

  • First-party analytics records the pages you view, the referring address and campaign (utm) parameters, so we can see where visitors come from and what they read.
  • Your browser keeps two values: a random anonymous id (sf_anon_id, local storage) to tell visitors apart, and the source of your first visit (sf_ft, local storage and a cookie, kept 90 days). Neither contains your name or contact details.
  • Google Analytics: the site uses Google Analytics, which collects browsing data with cookies and processes it under Google's privacy policy.
  • The site is served through Cloudflare and our own server, which log IP addresses, browser type and time of access for security and troubleshooting.

2. When you contact us

  • When you reach us by email, QQ, Telegram or WeChat, we see your email address or your account on that platform and the messages you send, such as the region, plan and use you want.
  • We use them only to answer you, arrange delivery and provide support.

3. When you order and pay

  • Taobao and Xianyu handle payment and buyer details; we only see the order information they give sellers.
  • For company transfers we keep the paying account and transfer records for reconciliation and invoices.
  • For an invoice we need your invoicing details.

4. When you use the Mac

  • We send you the remote-access details on delivery. Connections go through UU Remote or ToDesk under their own privacy policies.
  • We activate the Claude account; your conversations and usage in Claude are processed by Anthropic under its privacy policy.
  • We don't look at the content of your Mac except to help when you ask, to troubleshoot, or for necessary maintenance.
  • When the service ends the Mac is reset and all its data is erased.

5. Who receives it

  • We don't sell your personal information.
  • Information passes only through the third parties named above, where the service needs them: Google, Cloudflare, Taobao and Xianyu, QQ, Telegram, WeChat, UU Remote, ToDesk and Anthropic.
  • We disclose information when the law or a competent authority lawfully requires it.

6. How long we keep it

  • Contact and order records are kept during your term; afterwards we keep only what support, accounting and tax require.
  • Site analytics are used only in aggregate.

7. Your choices

  • You can clear cookies and local storage at any time, or block Google Analytics with browser settings or an extension; the site works the same.
  • You can email [email protected] to ask us to show, correct or delete the contact and order records we hold about you, except what the law requires us to keep.
